Shortsea Shipping Workshop

On January 28, 2005 took place an information workshop on Shortsea Shipping Roundtable.

This workshop reunited many participants for whom the stake of the Shortsea Shipping is very important and it was meant to inform the public in general on this matter.

It was presided by Ms. Nicole Trepanier, President of the Shortsea Shipping Roundtable and Mr. Michel Dignard, Secretary. Please find below the items that were discussed at this workshop:

• Ms Trépanier related the history of the Roundtable, how it began and explained its mandate and composition.
• Mr. Dignard, Transport Analyst, Transport Quebec was in charge of the research and secretarial issues.
• Power Point presentation has been presented to by Ms Trépanier and Mr. Dignard.
• A period of questions followed the presentation.
